Information

Dear Guest,
Welcome to Salesianum, in the Biro-Giczey House, that has been recently renovated! Due to its baroque saloons with seccos presenting amazing birds the House was also known as the house of birds by the inhabitants of the city.
The House was named after Padányi Biró Márton prebend, who became the bishop of Veszprém, and after Giczey István prebend. Several exhibitions can be found on the first floor with the aim to remember them.
In this building can be found the tourist institute of the Veszprém Archdiocese, which was named after Szalézi Szent Ferenc. The aim of the center is to offer an insight into church related sightseeing that refer to the area of the city and not at least to attract all those people who are interested in learning more about the House itself.
Please enter the building and enjoy our exhibitions!
